The Birth of Shapes
Each new EXHO model begins with sketches, where the designer formalizes the concept, drawing inspiration from nature, architecture, or automobiles. The idea is then refined to meet the dimensional and technical constraints specific to watchmaking. The designer harmonizes shapes and materials to create a balanced and cohesive whole. Each watch thus tells a unique story, from its inspiration to its creation, including the selection of materials.

Creation & design
The creation of a watch begins with an original design, sketched through drawings and prototypes. Each model is inspired by various universes—architecture, technology, nature—to define lines that are both innovative and timeless.
Modeling & Prototyping
Once the design is refined, Dimitri creates 3D models to precisely adjust the dimensions. Using tools like 3D printing, he checks every detail of the project. Finally, he sends the technical plans of the components that will make up the watch to the subcontractors.
Finishing, Assembly, & Adjustment
In his workshop, Dimitri refines certain machined parts to give them unique finishes, including personalized engravings. He then assembles the components made by the subcontractors, adjusts the watch and its movement, and conducts a thorough final inspection before shipping.
Communication
Beyond his role as a watchmaker and designer, Dimitri also manages the communication surrounding his creations. With his skills in graphic design, communication, and expertise as a watchmaking designer, he regularly shares his work on social media and through local events.
The Sketches
Typography Work
To harmonize the overall design, the characters on the dial and bezel were carefully crafted to align with the brand's global design. The numerals incorporate the curved and stretched lines of the logo, while ensuring excellent readability even at a small scale.
Packaging Design
At Exho, nothing is left to chance. The packaging of each watch reflects the brand's distinctive codes, featuring an exo-structure that secures the closure of the box, emphasizing the importance of a cohesive and comprehensive design.
